Gullkistan Art Festival 1995 in Laugarvatn

Organized by me and Kristveig Halldórsdóttir. At the time I was the community nurse at Laugarvatn.

104 visual artists took part in the exhibition and about 50 other artists, musicians, poets and actors, The festival filled schools, dormitories and other buildings as well as outside, all around the village.

Title: Sárabót fyrir herbergi nr. 4 / Band aid/consolation for room no 4

Material: Bandaid 5 meters, red oilpaint, red sewingmachine thread, dormitory room number 4 and audience.

Method: Painting and embroidery. Bandaid cut up to fit on all walls in dormitory room.
